Elio Volpe

Ste Marie sought inspiration from the name Elio with its roots in the Greek word for sun and as such the space has an overwhelmingly warm point of view with a colour palette pulled from the Kodachrome beach side photographs of Luigi Ghirri (weather beaten and lived in).

With elements that are decidedly residential, they push against contemporary forms that are overly refined. Furniture, lighting, artwork feel assembled in a studio highlighting gestures of craftsmanship, precision and depth.
